Leonis as an urban bus is designed for passenger transport in towns and cities over shorter distances. The bus features a self-supporting frame with the engine compartment situated in the rear. It is fitted with a ZF Ecomat 6-gear automatic transmission. A 4-gear Voith Diwa automatic transmission or 6-gear manual ZF 6 S 1200 BD transmission are available as options. The bus interior and arrangement of seats conform to city transport requirements. Seats are comfortable and feature fabric upholstering from the manufacturer. The vehicle’s distinguished style features a new design incorporating glazed surfaces to allow better visibility and to make a lighter impression. They provide a perfect view of the surroundings, which is appreciated by passengers. Passengers can board the bus using three double doors. The first door is in the front, the second in the middle, and the third in the rear (past the rear axle) of the bus. The bus is furnished with a mechanical boarding ramp, a hydraulic ramp is available as an option. The bus meets all requirements for modern city passenger transport. The bus capacity is 31 seated and 71 standing passengers. Leonis is driven by a 184kW Cummins ISBe250 engine. The engine complies with the EURO5 emission standard.
